About me

My name is Andreas Rörig. I was born in 1966 and I live in Wilsenroth / Westerwald (Germany). I work as a senior IT consultant. In my spare time I play volleyball or deal with amateur astronomy.
I was always interested in technology and science. Sometime I wanted to find out which astronomical objects could be seen with my own eyes and so in 1997 I bought my first telescope. My main interest is astrophotography of deep sky objects.
